We are grateful to live in the traditional territories of the Coast Salish people. Sun Wah restaurant was established in 2007, we specialize in Cantonese, Szechuan and Hong Kong style dishes.

Our Chefs have over 20 years’ experience in Chinese cuisine and are passionate about the food they serve to you.

Our most popular choice by customers is Cantonese style food. It is one of four major cuisine’s in China. The major characteristics of Cantonese style food is its ability to bring out the ingredients freshness and quality. The dishes themselves are not bold in flavour but instead has a more clean and healthy approach.

In Cantonese cooking there are many styles, the major ones include, stir-fry, braise, grill and roast. Using these methods to cook the food will bring out the unique qualities, textures and characteristics of each ingredient as well as enhancing the flavour profiles of sweet, salty, sour, bitter and spicy.

Cantonese cuisine is more than a style of cooking, it is a way of introducing balance in a lifestyle.
It brings communities and families together with the strive on introducing fresh, clean and nutritious dishes for a healthy diet.

新華餐馆始创于2007年,粤式私房菜为主,配有川菜,及港式菜品。

粤菜是中国四菜系之一,主要特点用量精而细,配料多而巧,注重质和味,口味比较清淡,力求清中求鲜、淡中美。

在烹调上以炒、烩、煎烤、局着称,食味讲究清、鲜、嫩、爽、滑、香;调味遍及酸、甜、苦、辣、咸;此即所谓五滋六味

招牌推荐,明炉烧鸭,蜜汁叉烧,玫瑰豉油鸡,干炒牛河,罗汉斋,脆皮鸡,椒盐肉扒,椒盐鱿鱼,干炒牛丝。及煲仔类,铁板类菜品。

本店厨师均有10到30年餐饮业经验。
